Terms of Use for Bayaan App

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bayaan App mobile application, related services, and integrations (collectively, the “App”), operated by Bayaan App (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App
Bayaan App provides prayer time calculations, Salah notifications, and related Islamic utility features based on user preferences and selected location. The App is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using Bayaan App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts
Certain features of the App may require creating an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as necessary.

4. Location and Accuracy Disclaimer
Salah times provided by the App are calculated using accepted calculation methods, user-selected preferences, and location information. Prayer times may vary based on local practices, moon sighting methods, or calculation standards.

Bayaan App does not guarantee that prayer times are exact or universally accepted and shall not be responsible for differences in interpretation or observance.

5. Voice Assistants and Alexa Integration
Bayaan App may integrate with third-party voice assistant platforms, including Amazon Alexa, to provide prayer time announcements, reminders, or related features.

When using voice assistant integrations:
- Voice commands and interactions are processed by the third-party provider (e.g., Amazon Alexa) in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms
- Bayaan App does not store voice recordings
- We receive only the minimum information required to fulfill the requested actionUse of voice assistant features is optional and subject to the terms and policies of the respective third-party provider.

6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App, including text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and integrations, are the exclusive property of Bayaan App or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our prior written permission.

7. Prohibited Conduct
Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose. Attempt unauthorized access to the App or its systems. Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation or securityMisuse voice assistant or automation features

8. Advertising (Future Provision)
Bayaan App does not currently display advertisements. If advertising is introduced in the future, it may be displayed within the App in compliance with applicable laws and platform requirements.

9. App Store Terms and Third-Party Platforms
If you download Bayaan App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:
- You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Bayaan App, not Apple or Google
- Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content
- Your use of the App must comply with applicable App Store terms and policies
- Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms where applicable

10. Delete Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.Account deletion can be initiated by:
- Using the in-app “Delete Account” option (if available), or
- Contacting us via email at info@bayaanapp.com

Upon verification, we will delete your account and personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. Some information may be retained where legally required.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Bayaan makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, availability, or reliability.

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bayaan App shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.
